STUDENT FITNESS

Kai Greene, a pro builder and an artist once said “You have to think it before you can do it. The mind is what makes it all possible.”

We have always heard the word “FITNESS” and “HEALTH”. We use it ourselves and as well as with our students while saying the phrases like “health is wealth” and “fitness is the key”. The word health means the state of being well and free from illnesses. When a person functions well physically as well as mentally, we call that person healthy ad fit.

Exercise for Healthy Lifestyle

A healthy lifestyle demands regular exercise, and it is an integral part of being fit. Various studies have shown us the multiple benefits it can give.

  • Not only does regular exercise helps us to reduce our risks of developing diseases and manage our weight, but it can also help us prevent and treat mental health problems.
  • It helps students to focus in studies.
  • Exercise is a great way to unwind from the anxieties in life and can boost our wellbeing and mood. No matter what one’s age is, everyone gets benefitted by exercising regularly.
  • To instill healthy habits that may last a lifetime for children, one makes their kids active from an early age.
  • Being active is a huge benefit for people of every age, especially for kids and the aged.

Importance of exercise

  • Exercise helps in the stimulation of muscles, development of joints, bones, lungs and heart.
  • It helps children maintain a constant healthy weight.
  • Exercise helps young people manage symptoms of depression and anxiety.

What Exercising Does To Us

Compared to the previous generations, sedentary lifestyles, hectic tuition classes and long commutes have put us more at risk of the dangers of inactivity and unhealthy lifestyles.

  • Every school kid should aim at least 120 minutes of moderate intense activity over the course of the week
  • Strengthening exercises are also very important to do at least two days a week.
  • One should aim to do at least some physical activity every day.

But while we exercise we should always keep in mind these points:

  • Whether we have always been active or we are just starting, make sure we take slow steps to stay healthy, avoid injury and things like muscle strain.
  • It’s also important to drink enough water to keep ourselves hydrated and to eat the right foods to provide the fuel we need to exercise. But a balanced, wholesome diet is the best plan of action for most of the people.

Exercise Spreads Positivity

A person stays happier, positive, being fit and healthy. A healthy and fit person is less prone to chronic diseases. In any difficult situation, a healthy mind will always react in a better and positive manner. Exercising regularly helps us increase our self-confidence. With the increased immunity power, body fights against every disease.

This is why it is always said, “Take care of your body because this is the only place you have to live.”
